The Corewell Health Taylor Hospital Brain Injury Medicine Fellowship is proud to train physicians to provide compassionate, extraordinary care to a diverse population of patients with neurorehabilitation diagnoses. Our graduates have excelled at achieving academic leadership positions throughout the country. Our goal is to equip our fellow with the tools for evaluation, treatment, and management of this diverse population, and across care settings. Our graduates have the experience and training necessary to carry out an array of procedures including: intrathecal baclofen pump management, chemodenervation for spasticity (with multiple forms of guidance), chemodenervation for chronic migraine in the brain injury population, and greater occipital nerve blocks.
The Fellow will be part of an interdisciplinary team providing state of the art care to persons with traumatic brain injury, sports concussions, stroke, CNS neoplasms, anoxic/hypoxic brain injury, and other brain disorders.
The fellow will have training in inpatient rehabilitation, inpatient consultation, concussion clinic, and follow-up clinic. The fellow will be able to evaluate and manage patients all throughout the continuum of their condition.
