Adult ID consultation service
- consists of students, residents and fellows
- we follow approximately fifteen patients on a daily basis with approximately four new consultations per day
Pediatric ID consultation service
- follows approximately seven patients on a daily basis with approximately two new consultations per day
Fellows' ID clinic
- meets once weekly and is supervised by full-time faculty
- fellows see patients transitioning from inpatient to outpatient care and new and follow up outpatient consultations, including providing continuity of care for patients with HIV/AIDS
Other ambulatory experience
- consists of exposure to international medicine, providing care to international travelers, and ambulatory rotations in clinics such as STD, TB, and clinical immunology
We sponsor full support for fellows to attend at least one national scientific meeting each year. Fellows also attend a national course in hospital epidemiology and quality improvement.
