Research is a primary focus of the fellowship. Clinical, translational, and basic science research opportunities are supported by our onsite orthopaedic research program. Fellows will be required to participate in multiple research projects during the academic year, including:
- assisting with development of the research protocol
- performing data collection
- participating in thorough literature review as well as abstract and manuscript preparation
Protected research time is provided. It is anticipated and expected that studies will results in abstracts presented at state, regional, and national meetings as well as publication in appropriate peer-reviewed journals.
