How to Apply for 2025-2026

Applicants must be eligible to take the American Board of Pathology certifying examination or be certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology or Clinical Pathology alone from ACGME training obtained in the United States or Canada. They must also hold a license or be eligible to practice medicine in the State of Michigan. Please complete a standardized-pathology-fellowship-application and email completed application along with 3 letters of recommendation, a personal statement, a copy of step 3 scores, and your CV. are required. Timeline for the Hematopathology Fellowship Match

  • January 2025: programs start interviewing
  • February 5, 2025: match opens for registration to programs and applicants
  • March 12, 2025: ranking opens
  • April 16, 2025: rank order list certification deadline
  • April 30, 2025: match day
  • July 2026: start of fellowship
