Mission statement
The Family Medicine Residency at Beaumont, Farmington Hills works to deliver comprehensive, compassionate, extraordinary care every day to all our patients. We work to prepare residents during their training with the tools they need to deliver quality
care to all ages. Our focus is to integrate resident rotations with the ambulatory clinic experience, lecture curriculum, osteopathic recognition, Statewide Campus System, and more to prepare each resident upon completion of their residency to deliver
quality care. We emphasize teachings in empathy, introspection, and adult learning principles, which enables our residents to excel in their profession.
Aims
Our aim is to deliver medical education with a compassionate, caring, and balanced approach. Our curriculum is designed to train residents to deliver high quality care to patients of all backgrounds and ages. We aim to teach the broad based
knowledge required in family medicine, but also tailor education to the individual's needs. Our curriculum allows for residents to care for our diverse patient population. The size of our program also allows for a great deal of individual
attention to the needs of our residents, enhancing their ability to deliver extraordinary care, every day.
