David D. Lick, M.D., MBA, MPH, FAAFP

Professor, Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine

David Lick, M.D., MBA, MPH attended The Ohio State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering. He then moved back to his hometown of Toledo, Ohio and obtained his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio. He completed his family medicine residency at Beaumont Hospital, Troy, the Primary Care Faculty Development Fellowship at Michigan State University, received his MBA through The University of Texas at Dallas and his MPH at Harvard University. After working in private practice for several years he rejoined the residency as a full-time faculty member in 2005 and has served as Program Director since 2009. He has academic appointments through Wayne State University School of Medicine, Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine where he is a Professor and Vice Chair of Education. He serves as the team physician for Troy Athens High School and is active with the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM). His professional interests include hospital medicine, sports medicine, epidemiology, and procedures. He enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with his family and friends and, of course, watching Ohio State football.

Srikala Yedavally-Yellayi, D.O., FAAFP, MEd, attended Wayne State University and received her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology.  She graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.  After completing an Osteopathic Internship at Detroit Osteopathic/Bi-County Community Hospital, she completed her family medicine residency at Oakwood Hospital, Dearborn, Michigan, where she also served as chief resident. Dr. Yedavally has a Master’s degree in Education from University of Pennsylvania. She was a Family Medicine faculty at Oakwood for nine years where she had a special interest in domestic violence and was a physician volunteer at a shelter for women and children.  Dr. Yedavally joined the faculty at Beaumont Hospital, Troy Family Medicine Residency Program in 2008 where she served as the Osteopathic Director of Medical Education for 8 years and is now the Clerkship Director for Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Dr. Yedavally is also a Global Health Co-Director for Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and has participated in several medical missions in Peru and Belize. She is also an active member of the Ethics Consult Service at Beaumont Troy and has a special interest in Palliative Care. Dr. Yedavally holds clinical appointments at Wayne State University School of Medicine, Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.  Dr. Yedavally is married and has three children.


Megan Andrzejak-Riedy, DO

Megan Andrzejak-Riedy, D.O.

Megan Andrzejak-Riedy, DO attended undergrad at Michigan State University where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Genomics and Molecular Genetics. She then went on to obtain her Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences at Midwestern University prior to going to Medical School at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Family Medicine residency at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland, MI. After residency, Dr. Andrzejak-Riedy completed a fellowship in Maternal and Newborn Health at Beaumont Wayne. Her professional interests include Women’s Health, Obstetric Care, Preventative Medicine, and Medical Education. Outside of work Dr. Andrzejak-Riedy enjoys reading, hiking, biking, traveling, and supporting the Michigan State Spartans.


Anette Cox
Annette Cox
Office Manager

Annette Cox has a degree in Business from Alpena Community College.  She has spent most of her career within the Beaumont Health System.  Her past financial experience was in the areas of reimbursement and financial analysis.  In her spare time Annette enjoys traveling, Detroit Tigers baseball, soccer, gardening and spending time with family.

Ruzica Dzebo, M.D.

Ruzica Dzebo, M.D. received both her undergraduate and medical degrees from Wayne State University.  She completed her family medicine residency at Beaumont Troy in 2009.  She was in private practice for four years in Port Huron, Michigan.  During that time she continued to be involved with Beaumont Health System where she enjoyed seeing patients and teaching residents and medical students.  In 2013, she joined Family Medicine Center as a full time faculty and Medical Director.  She is an Assistant Professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.  She speaks Serbian and understands most Slavic languages.  She enjoys traveling, reading, watching sports and movies, but most of all spending time with her family.  Dr. Dzebo is married and has two children.

Hany Eraqi, MD

Assistant Professor, Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine

Dr. Hany Eraqi graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the Beaumont Troy Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program in 2020. He was faculty at Ascension St. John Hospital Family Medicine Residency until he was appointed to Clinical Faculty at the Beaumont Troy Family Medicine in 2021. He currently practices both inpatient and outpatient medicine along with obstetrics. His interests include women’s health, obstetrics, ultrasound, and office procedures. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children, visiting museums, playing board games, cooking, and traveling.

Amber Gruber, D.O.

Amber Gruber, D.O. attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She obtained her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she did an undergraduate fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. She completed her residency training in both Family Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine at Botsford Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. She joined the faculty of Beaumont Hospital, Troy, Family Medicine Residency Program, in October 2010. She is an Assistant Professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and a Clinical Professor at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her professional interests are Osteopathic Manipulation, musculoskeletal medicine, and integrative medicine. In 2017, she completed the Beaumont Faculty Scholars Program in Integrative Medicine and is passionate about training learners in this approach to patient care. In her spare time, she is an avid outdoors enthusiast, enjoys photography, and loves spending time with her husband and children.

Jessica Heselschwerdt, MD

Jessica attended University of Michigan, where she received her bachelor's degree in Psychology, and then obtained her medical degree from the Wayne State School of Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency in University of Texas, Austin, and then after working for a small group practice for two years, moved back to Michigan. She practiced at Michigan State University in East Lansing for several years before joining the faculty at the Beaumont Troy Family Medicine Residency Program in 2022. She enjoys all aspects of primary care, and her professional interests include medical education, gender-affirming hormone therapy, and providing care to people experiencing homelessness. She is passionate about advocating for patients and for the specialty of Family Medicine and has been involved with the Michigan Academy of Family Physician's advocacy efforts. She enjoys baking, gardening, travel, and hiking with her dog.

Amy D'Onofrio, RN, BSN, CMSRN, CPSN
Nursing Supervisor

Amy D'Onofrio, RN, BSN, RN-BC, CMSRN, CPSN obtained an associate’s degree in nursing from Oakland Community College and bachelor’s degree from Oakland University. She has spent her entire nursing career working with residents in residency programs affiliated with Beaumont Hospital and Henry Ford Hospital. Her past clinical experiences include: Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Urology, Orthopedics, Colon/Rectal, Hand, Plastic, and Reconstructive Surgery. Achievements include specialty certifications in Registered Nurse Board Certified Ambulatory Care Nursing (RN-BC), Medical-Surgical Nursing (CMSRN) and Plastic Surgical Nursing (CPSN). In her spare time, she enjoys snowmobiling in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, cooking, gardening, boating, and rescuing Great Danes.


Elena Kline

Elena Kline, PharmD, CGP

Elena obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University in 2011, and went on to complete one year of specialized residency training at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System the following year. She received her teaching certificate through the University of Michigan and has gone on to precept pharmacy students and residents alongside a variety of adjunct clinical faculty appointments, including the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Elena also serves as a clinical instructor for the Pharmacology course in the Oakland University Doctor of Physical Therapy curriculum. Elena was the internal medicine pharmacist specialist at Beaumont Hospital, Troy for just under four years where she developed her position to include daily, interprofessional rounding with the Family Medicine team. In 2015, she received her Health Coach certification through Dartmouth Institute, and in 2016 she transitioned to the ambulatory care setting as the clinical pharmacist specialist at the Beaumont Family Medicine Center (FMC), Sterling Heights. She obtained her board certification in geriatric and ambulatory pharmacy in 2015 and 2017 respectively. In 2018, she was the recipient of substantial grant funding to develop a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Clinic at the FMC and is serving as the Program Director. Elena is also working to implement a variety of clinical pharmacy services at the Center. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, Detroit and Purdue athletics, and spending time with family and friends.

Elie Mulhem, M.D.

Elie Mulhem, M.D. attended Damascus University, Syria, where he received his medical degree.  He completed his family medicine residency at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  After practicing in Houghton Lake, Michigan, he joined the staff at Beaumont Hospital, Troy in 1998, and is currently the Vice Chair of Research and Women’s Health for the department of Family Medicine.  He also initiated and oversees the Gynecology Procedures Clinic at the Family Medicine Center in Troy.  Dr. Mulhem is an Associate Editor for Cochrane Clinical Answers from the Cochrane Library and a Professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.  He and his wife enjoy hiking, traveling and spending time with their sons.

Andrew M. Oleszkowicz, M.D.

Andrew M. Oleszkowicz, M.D. received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Health Science from Alma College before attending medical school at Wayne State University.  He completed his residency training in family medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he served as chief resident.  He joined the faculty at Beaumont Hospital, Troy in 2009. Dr. Oleszkowicz is currently the Associate Program Director and an Assistant Professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.  His professional interests include curriculum development, obstetrics, hospital medicine, preventive medicine and chronic disease management.  He enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, competing in triathlon and traveling.


Erwin Patalinghug, M.D.

Erwin Patalinghug, M.D. attended Wayne State University and received a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology Honors with University Honors.  He subsequently completed his medical degree at the Wayne State University School of Medicine.  He completed his family medicine residency at Beaumont Hospital, Troy in 2017 and subsequently joined the academic faculty.  His practice interests cover the full spectrum of Family Medicine; including outpatient care, inpatient care, and obstetric care.  


Adam Shammami, D.O.

Assistant Professor, Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine

Adam Shammami, D.O., attended Wayne State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in radiation therapy technology. He obtained his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency training in family medicine at St. John Providence. Following residency, Dr. Shammami developed an interest in addiction medicine and has practiced in both inpatient residential treatment centers and outpatient addiction centers. After joining Beaumont Health, Dr. Shammami was instrumental in launching the first Substance Use Disorder Clinic within Beaumont Health, where he currently serves as the medical director. His professional interests include addiction medicine, pediatrics, hospital medicine and urgent care. Dr. Shammami has academic appointments at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Dr. Shammami is fluent in Arabic and Chaldean (Aramaic) language. He enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, swimming and traveling.

Erik Weitz, DO

Erik Weitz, DO, received both his undergraduate degree in Public Policy and his medical degree from Michigan State University. He completed his family medicine residency at Beaumont Hospital, Troy where he completed the Hospital Medicine track. He subsequently joined the faculty of the residency program at Troy. His practice interests include adult and pediatric outpatient and inpatient medicine, office procedures, education, and chronic disease management. He enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, movies and baseball. 


Lori Zeman

Lori Zeman, Ph.D.

Associate Professor, Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine

Lori Lackman Zeman, Ph.D., ABPP, obtained her doctoral degree in clinical psychology with a child and health emphasis in 1990 from the University of Miami. She is board certified in health psychology. She joined our faculty in 2014 and is an Associate Professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Dr. Zeman's work focuses on the integration of mental and physical health care.  She is also interested in how health care delivery can be designed to increase access and enhance population health. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and volunteering for a children’s international peace organization.
