Thank you for your interest in the combined program in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Corewell Health.
Our program was established in 1981, making it one of the first combined Med/Peds programs in the country. Combined training in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics is both challenging and highly rewarding. Our graduates are well qualified to care for complex
patients across the lifespan, making them extremely valuable to patients, their communities, health systems and to global health. Our graduates have pursued a broad range of careers including combined primary care, hospitalist care, academic medicine,
Adult and Pediatric specialties, and Doctors Without Borders.
Diversity in both our patients and our workforce is one of our greatest strengths. The vision of Corewell Health is to be the leading network nationally in high-value health care. We strive for extraordinary outcomes through education, innovation and
compassion. Each person involved in patient care is an invaluable participant in achieving this vision and it is imperative that we work seamlessly together to achieve this common goal.
Because we share a common goal, we share common values. Corewell Health’s core values of compassion, respect, integrity, teamwork and excellence direct our interactions with patients, families, and with each other regardless of age, gender, sexuality, race, religion, or level of training. Our leadership is steadfast in its support for diversity and inclusion of all including, but not limited to, Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgender (LGBT), racial minorities and those from all religious backgrounds.
We look forward to welcoming you to our program.
