Research

Anatomic & Clinical Pathology Research

Active research is ongoing throughout anatomic and clinical pathology and resident participation is strongly encouraged and supported. Many faculty are involved in grant approved projects and many research endeavors are interdisciplinary, working closely with our clinical colleagues. Research is often done with the assistance and support of the Beaumont Research Institute. The Beaumont Research Institute is located on campus, immediately adjacent to the hospital. It is a 72,000 square foot complex which houses facilities that provide an avenue for bench, animal and clinical research.

Our residents have been active participants in regional and national meetings, presenting numerous posters and platforms. Residents are afforded both ample time and financial support to present their material, as this is an important aspect of their training.
