Our faculty is made up of clinician-educators from diverse backgrounds and specialties. Residents will have the opportunity to work in multidisciplinary teams with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, licensed professional counselors, physician
assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, and several other physician specialists (e.g., developmental-behavioral pediatricians, internists, family practitioners, geriatricians, neurologists, physiatrists). Among our psychiatrists, we
have subspecialists in child and adolescent psychiatry, addiction, forensics, geriatrics, sleep, public and community psychiatry, integrative medicine, psychoanalysis, and perinatal psychiatry. Our affiliations with multiple universities —
Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, Michigan State University, and Wayne State University — also open up opportunities
for residents to work with medical students, researchers and educators in a variety of psychiatry-related fields.
