Beaumont Medical Library:

The Corewell Health East Medical Library offers high-quality information resources and services that support patient and family-centered care decision making, evidence-based practice, continuing education, and professional development, research and publications for all Corewell Health East region clinical and non-clinical staff. We have an onsite library at our Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital, Royal Oak campus and our virtual E-Library resources of books, journals and databases are available to all of our Corewell Health East region affiliated staff.  Our staff of 4 Masters' degreed medical librarians are prepared to help you discover all the Corewell Health East Medical Library resources that are available to you in the Corewell Health East region system.

Our Services

Our Corewell Health East Library staff provides these services for our Corewell Health East region clinicians and employees:

  • Literature Searches on various medical, nursing and health topics from our many databases
  • Retrieval of articles from our Library collections and our network of affiliated libraries
  • Access to authoritative and comprehensive collection of print and e-resources including clinical e-journals & e-books and bibliographic databases such as UptToDate, PubMed, CINAHL, Clinical Key among others
  • Print books and other media resources that are available to borrow and checkout
  • Public computer workstations at the Corewell Health East William Beaumont University Hospital library location
  • Assistance with creating bibliographies for publishing research
  • Offer training and presentations for staff on how to navigate the health literature
