  • Over 6,000 deliveries per year at the Royal Oak hospital; Karmanos Natural Birth Center; Level 3-b NICU and busy newborn nursery
  • The Beaumont Pediatric Comprehensive Epilepsy Center has been reaccredited consistently by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers as a pediatric-specific level 4 epilepsy center – a national honor reserved for centers providing the highest levels of care to the most complex epilepsy patients.
  • Superior didactic curriculum, including dedicated educational courses, ethics and professionalism, global health, and preparing for practice.
  • Exposure to Child Advocacy and Protection work
  • Procedural skills, simulation training in the Applebaum Simulation Learning Institute
