Corewell Health is the new name for Beaumont.

Do residents rotate at other hospitals?
Yes.

Residents rotate through inpatient and outpatient pediatrics, newborn medicine, pediatric emergency medicine and obstetrics at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital. Residents may also rotate there during their elective months. Electives can also occur at other Corewell Health hospitals.

How many Family Medicine programs are within the Corewell Health system?
There are four Family Medicine programs. Troy; Grosse Pointe; Dearborn (formerly Oakwood); and Farmington Hills (formerly Botsford).
Each location is a unique, individual program, and must be applied to separately.

Are you an opposed or unopposed program?
The Family Medicine Residency programs at Troy and Grosse Pointe are unopposed.

Do you sponsor ECFMG's? 
Yes. We sponsor J-1 and H-1B visa.

What percentage of your residents pass the Boards on their first try?
We are proud to say that we have a 100% passing rate.
