Corewell Health is the new name for Beaumont.

Physicians accepted into the program will follow the requirements of the ACGME. All residents attend monthly conferences, as well as other various educational conferences, at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSUCOM).

The resident is provided the opportunity to participate in the management of sufficient numbers of deliveries, inclusive of all pathology. These include but are not limited to

  • forcep Deliveries
  • rotation
  • breech extractions
  • sections
  • abruption
  • previa
  • diabetes Mellitus
  • cardiovascular disease
  • renal disease
  • pregnancy induced hypertension
  • hypertension
  • post-partum hemorrhage
  • DIC
  • thyroid Disease

The program includes training in

  • obstetrics
  • gynecology
  • infertility
  • reproductive
  • endocrinology
  • gynecologic endocrinology
  • family planning and human sexuality
  • oncology and radiation therapy
  • perinatology
  • fetal maternal high-risk obstetrics
  • psychosomatics
  • and all other non-operative and operative means of diagnosis and treatment

Emphasis is also placed on the application of osteopathic concepts with the treatment of the obstetric/gynecologic patient.
