Corewell Health is the new name for Beaumont.
Our clinical researchers coordinate over 25 clinical trials, including physician-initiated single center studies and industry/NIH sponsored multi center trials.
The Beaumont Research Institute is a 72,000 square foot complex which houses facilities that provide an avenue for bench, animal and clinical research.
We also have 4 biostatisticians on staff to help with research projects.
Fellows gain experience in research education through:
There is a full-time research director, research nurse and research Ph.D. as well as leaders in pediatric emergency medicine and emergency medicine research among the faculty members.
Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellows are required to complete at least one research project in which they are the primary author. We have a staff of physicians, biostatisticians and research coordinators to help fellows complete their research projects.
